High Performance Benchmarks

Benchmarks are used to assess an athletes readiness to compete in the USAT Draft Legal Development Series races.  They are designed to give athletes an idea of where their time would potentially place them in these races, provide goals to strive toward, and give insight to where training should be focused. They are not the sole indicator of an athletes ability to be on the team.

What Our Athletes Are Saying

“Two years ago when I was 12, I watched a Youtube video and felt inspired to race in a triathlon.  Of course, at that time, I could barely swim two lengths of the pool. Luckily, my mother found Barracuda Tri, and Coach Jeff before I had quickly given up on my triathlon dream. While training on his Level 2 team, Coach Jeff gave me the guidance that I needed to become more confident in all three disciplines of triathlon, and a better athlete in general. Jeff goes above and beyond with everyone of his athletes, whether it’s showing up to practice half an hour early to set up cones, or teaching them how to inflate a flat tire when they get one. After a year spent on his L2 squad, I decided to take triathlon more seriously, and enter the world of draft legal racing. Training with Jeff and the team has truly become one of the highlights of my day, and for that, I couldn’t be more thankful. Triathlon has truly changed my life, and it is all thanks to Coach Jeff and Barracuda Tri!”
