Hi All,

On March 13th we're holding a Swim Clinic at Williams Indoor Pool. The clinic will be officially coached and will run from 11:30am-3:30pm. Spots are VERY LIMITED, to ensure there's focused 1-on-1 attention for everyone attending, so sign-up by asap. The cost is $25 for for BAM Members.

Registration for the clinic is limited to BAM! Members only, until February 28th, at which time we will open the registration to LJFAT and the Tri Island Group to ensure we reach capacity on enrollment.

For more information about the program, payment, etc please refer to the advert flyer:

Any questions, please ask.

Cheers,
--Jeff

Hi All,

Just following-up on our upcoming swim clinic. We're about half-full right now, with a firm cap on the event at 30 people. If you're planning on attending, please let me know ASAP as it's a first come first serve basis! This is a great way to be coached by some of the best in the area (Chris, Matt and Melanie), with personal 1-on-1 attention (not just a drill instructor yelling/throwing kickboards/etc)! So if you're new to the sport or a seasoned vet, I'm confident you'll surely gain from this clinic (unless of course you're already swimming sub 20-minute times for the HIM swim)!

Any questions about the clinic, please let me know.

Cheers,
--Jeff

Also, as an update and depending upon weather, thinking about going for a ride after the swim (nothing too bad or too far). Because we need to leave WIP promptly (including the parking area as they'll need to lockup), the starting location will be different than WIP. Once we have this sorted, will post so even if you're not at the clinic you can still join us for a ride.

Hi All,

As an update, this weekend's swim clinic is now sold out (the last few spots went this morning). The good news is that on April-17 we're planning on holding an Open Water Swim Clinic (time and location TBD). Save this date and register early!

Cheers,
--Jeff

But if there is more interest in the pool swim clinic, we can schedule another one, based on participation, so let Jeff know so he can keep track of how many folks would want in on a second pool swim clinic.

Jeff,

Do we need to bring anything other than ourselves, swimsuits and towels, to the swim clinic (kick boards, paddles, wet suits, gatorade...etc).

Howdy all!

The clinic is almost here and we are going to have a full house. We have 4 hours to learn how to swim better. It seems like a long time. For some - it is, but for most, it will fly by.

The plan is to use the first hour to film and do some individual swim analysis. We will then move to the wrestling room for some full contact video analysis. There may not be chairs, so we will need to get cozy. After we are finished watching everyone swim, we will return to the pool for some instruction on the different swimming drills. And we may even get in some interval work.

You need to bring your swim suit, goggles, a towel, some warm clothes and a sense of humor. We will provide some healthy snacks, drinks and criticism. There will not be a need for swimming toys.

Can't wait to see you guys there.

Hi All,

Can't wait for tomorrow! Seriously ... not sure why, but I'm looking forward to the swim.

As a reminder to those attending the clinic and everyone else, after there's going to be a quick ride (mostly because the weather is supposed to be amazing). I've got two courses somewhat mapped out. These are not finalized however, and are not supported. The start time will be 4pm from Koala, which is just across El Dorado from WIP.

Short Course:

Long Course:

Any concerns, questions, etc, please email or call me.

Cheers,
--Jeff

Movies, snacks, humor, friends, learned something...
Kind of like a Disney movie.

For those of you who did participate in the clinic, I hope you'll take a moment to complete the online survey! Help us improve!

I learned as much as I had fun!

Thanks!
